iMigrantArmenia.EU aims at supporting labour migrants from Aragatsotn and Shirak regions to start their own business or develop the ones they already have. Project team representatives had meetings with a number of regional community representatives. They discussed the grant opportunity in the frames of the project and its’ application process, as well as the upcoming Community development investments system (CDIS) platform.
On 25-27 April iMigrantArmenia.EU the team met with representatives of Mayisyan, Akhuryan, Basen, Kamo, Arevik, Azatan, Arapi, and Beniamin communities and on 3-4 May Artik, Ashotsk, Sarapat and Musayelyan community representatives in the Regional employment centres.
Business grant opportunities are given to the residents and labour migrants of Shirak and Aragatsotn regions to direct their resources, with the help of the project, to expand businesses or to establish new ones. Selected candidates will be granted up to EUR 15,000 in-kind support for the implementation of their business ideas. The application process runs from 7 May- 10 June.
At the same time, the project representatives presented Community development investments system (CDIS) web platform, to be launched on the 11th of May 2018. The platform aims at becoming a long-lasting link between the investors and those looking for investments.
